Of note:  Striking striped flowers on a climbing rose. 

Description:
The AARS tests climbers for three years, whereas all other classes stand trial for two years.  'Fourth of July' is the latest climbing rose honoree for AARS honors (actually, the first large-flowered climber to be honored as an All-America Rose Selection in twenty-three years!).

Hybridized by Tom Carruth, 'Fourth of July' bears clusters of large red and white striped flowers.  Fragrance is sweet, and repeat flowering is good.
