Description:
'Chicago Peace' is still the most popular of the several sports of it's famous parent, 'Peace'.  Originating in Chicago (hence the name), 'Chicago Peace' bears flowers with a more exuberant pink color than the parent.  Blooms are classic hybrid tea form, with full, large buds that open to a high centered flower.

Growth is upright and stiff, similar to the form of many of the Hybrid Teas of the 1960's and 1970's, and the place for this rose is in the formal rose garden.  Blackspot is an issue, so protection is in order, especially in humid climates.  Blooms come in waves, with a large offering in early summer and fall.

Finally, you may come across a climbing form - stay away from Climbing Chicago Peace, as it is extremely frugal with production of blooms.
