| There’s a lot of good rose gardening books out there and a lot of bad. Just the nature of things. Below are books that we can heartily recommend. Classic Roses by Peter Beales is mouth-droppingly expensive, but a classic. David Austin’s book is new in 2006 and from the mouth of the horse, so to speak. Graham Stuart is one of the authorities of rose gardening. Plus, there are couple of books geared towards northern and southern gardeners, as well as those of us who garden organically.
