I’ll be damned. Henry David Thoreau has a blog, called The Blog of Henry David Thoreau. I’m continually amazed at the pure genius one finds if one sits by the river long enough. More, even Walt Whitman apparently has a blog, appropriately named I, Walt Whitman, A Blogger. What in the hell is going on around here? Thoreau, along with Aldo Leopold and St. Exupery, helped forge me. When I stand in a garden, shovel in hand, or look another human being in the eyes, I stand on the shoulders of these authors.
