This is one of my top 5 favorite roses.

A superb blending of old and new, Heritage is a rose with many strengths and few weaknesses.  The cupped, blush pink blooms held aloft in sprays of three to seven offer us a glimpse of  rose perfection.  Singing the praises of various roses, it is easy to fall prey to throwing around accolades a bit too freely; however, the blooms of Heritage display a grace and loveliness which may be matched but will not be surpassed.

The major shortcoming of Heritage is the fragility of the blooms, but new blooms follow quickly as remontancy is excellent. Disease resistance is good, although mildew and rust may be a problem from time to time.   Canes are virtually thornless, and the shiny, green foliage remains fairly clean from blackspot.  Growth habit is bushy on a nicely formed shrub which will be attractive in the mixed border.

Heritage is one of the great English roses and deservedly so.   Heritage is named for the purity of color and the old rose perfection of its cupped blooms.
