Not widely available, 'Francine Austin' is surpassed by many roses in form and fragrance.  Individual flowers are not impressive, yet 'Francine Austin' does have several good points which make it worthy of consideration for inclusion in the garden.   Growing wider than tall, with excellent disease resistance, 'Francine Austin' would make a good choice as a 'no-worries' groundcover or climber.

Flower display is reliable throughout the entire growing season. Canes are very flexible, and flowers are borne in loose sprays.

'Francine Austin' is named for David Austin's daughter-in-law.
