Description:  'First Prize' is best suited for those who grow flowers for competitive exhibitions or are willing to give this rose the care it requires.  Lovely, silver-pink blooms of high-centered perfection are borne on long stems.  Good substance makes 'First Prize' an
excellent cut flower.  Flowers are large, topping four inches when open, and best color is achieved in cool weather.

'First Prize' grows to four feet or so, and the foliage is dark green and leathery.  Disease resistance is mediocre, and conscientious spraying will be required in order to keep blackspot at bay.  In addition, cold hardiness is not the best.
