Betty Priorbetty prior rose
Introduced:
1935, Prior, UK
Class:  Floribunda
Zones:  5-9
Parentage:  'Kirsten Poulsen' x seedling
Flowers:  Medium pink, single

Size:  4 - 5 feet
Fragrance:  Moderate

Of note:  Masses of bloom all season long, one of the best landscape roses ever.

Description:
'Betty Prior' grows quite tall for a Floribunda, to four or five feet. Combine this height with continuous bloom, and you have a rose ideally suited for the back of the perennial or mixed border.

Medium pink with five petals, the flowers are reminiscent of dogwood blooms (although dogwood flowers have four bracts instead of rose betty priorfive petals).  Resistance to blackspot and mildew is excellent.  Growth habit is somewhat upright, and the clusters of blooms are held six to eighteen inches above the foliage.

Introduced in 1935 and still one of the best after more than sixty years.
